Setting the Record Straight on “The Bridgewater Triangle” FX Series

A “Bridgewater Triangle” Series is coming to FX!

In August of 2019, the FX Network announced that they are producing an “Apocalyptic Horror Series” set in Massachusetts’ infamous Bridgewater Triangle region. The series will be appropriately titled, The Bridgewater Triangle. The rapidly spreading news has caused a flood and questions and misinformation on social media.

What we know:

The series is being produced by Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion).

The series has not yet gone into active production.

What we don’t know:

Who will star in the series.

Where the series will be shot. Swarms of Massachusetts residents are now wondering if the series will be filmed on-location in the Bridgewater Triangle region. FX has not announced where the series will be shot, but it’s our guess that it will be filmed someplace cheap, like Canada.

When the series will be released.

Clarifying Misinformation:

Although it shares the same title, the FX series The Bridgewater Triangle is not affiliated, in any way, with The Bridgewater Triangle documentary, which was released in 2013. The creative team behind The Bridgewater Triangle documentary has not been contacted by FX, Noah Hawley, or any other representative from the FX Network.

The FX series is not a “ghost hunting” show. It is not a reality show. It is a fictional story featuring actors and actresses (i.e. Stranger Things). The story is set in the Bridgewater Triangle.

Although we at The Bridgewater Triangle documentary have nothing to do with the FX series, we are definitely excited about it, and will do our best to keep you all up-to-date on news regarding its production.
